Ubuntu Desktop Virtual Machine Setup in Oracle VirtualBox

Project Overview
Created an Ubuntu Desktop virtual machine in Oracle VirtualBox to build hands-on experience with Linux installation, virtualization, system configuration, and troubleshooting.

Downloaded the Ubuntu Desktop ISO
Created a new virtual machine in Oracle VirtualBox
Configured memory, storage, and system settings
Mounted the Ubuntu ISO
Started the virtual machine and began the Ubuntu installation process
Completed the operating system setup and tested the virtual machine after installation

Challenges / Troubleshooting
During this project, I encountered setup issues that required troubleshooting, including boot and display problems during installation and confusion about EFI-related startup behavior. Working through these issues helped me better understand how virtual machines interact with system settings and how Linux installation can differ from Windows setup in a virtual environment.
